Biography
Kangana Ranaut was born in 23rd March, 1987 in Bhambla, Himachal Pradesh, India. She is daughter of Amardeep Ranaut and Asha Ranaut. In siblings she has one sister named rangoli ranaut and one brother named akshit ranaut. She has completed her primary education from DAV School located in Chandigarh. After completing her education she moved to delhi and learn acting from Asmita Theatre Group. She later worked in several theater play and rose her acting skills. Later she moved to mumbai and learn four month course of acting from Asha Chandra’s drama school. She struggled very hard to become actress because she got no support from family. After giving some audition she got selected in bollywood movie “Gangster” from where her career begin to shine.

Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut have been in the news for quite some time now. According to the sources, Hrithik was hesitant that Kangana will end up naming him as her ex in an interview and therefore sent a notice through his lawyer Deepesh Mehta accusing her of defamation. Education
Kangana was brought up in Dehradun and studied in DAV’s High School, where she participated in many debates, elocutions and was a basket-ball player. She attended Science College in Simla. After a few months of college, she was driven to Delhi to become a model and accompanied the Elite Modelling Agency in 2003.
Career
Ranaut has started her career as a theatre artist in Delhi with Asmita Theatre Group. She trained under eminent theatre director Arvind Gaur. She participated in his theatre workshop at India Habitat Centre and acted in several plays.
Her first play with Arvind Gaur was Girish Karnad’s Taledanda (Rakt-Kalyan). She joined Asha Chandra’s course in 2004 to brush herself to face the camera. In 2005, luck hit her with the movie “Gangster”. Apart from bollywood, Kangna also stepped into a telugu film Ek Niranjana, where she proved her acting skills.

Sister Rangoli
Kangana’s sister Rangoli has suffered from serious burn injuries where a man threw acid on her, at her residence in Doon valley. She was the final year student of M.Sc microbiology at that time. This was the first ever case of acid attack in Dehradun.

Trained under fitness guru Leena Mogre, Kangana follows a strict diet and workout regimen to maintain her figure. Being an ectomorph, she doesn’t really have to bother much about putting on too much weight, but a well-balanced diet is important nonetheless. Her fitness regime consists of a mix of power yoga, kickboxing and gym sessions.
